WhatWeMissed

Frame no. 00 plainly, row by row seven questions

Seven questions to ask any service at all.

We do not compare ourselves against names. We write out what we ourselves answer to the questions that decide the matter, and leave the questions for you to put to the alternatives. What stands in the right-hand column is what we hold to.

Frame no. 01 The questions, and our answers seven questions

  1. How much fits

    The question to ask

How many pictures are included, and what does it cost once the limit is reached?

    Our answer

The limit per plan is on the price page before you pay, and there is no automatic continuation that starts costing money.

  2. What you get back

    The question to ask

Is the file you download the same one the guest took, or a re-encoded copy?

    Our answer

We store and hand back the original file. No compression, no downscaling, no re-encoding.

  3. How long it is visible

    The question to ask

How long can the guests see the gallery after the event?

    Our answer

The viewing period belongs to the plan and is on the price page. It is counted in months, not days.

  4. If the service closes

    The question to ask

What do you still have the day the service no longer exists?

    Our answer

An archive you download as a single file, with a viewer that opens in the browser without an internet connection and without us.

  5. What happens to the guest

    The question to ask

Read the privacy policy of whoever you are comparing with — what is collected about the person uploading?

    Our answer

We do not track guests. No third-party code, no advertising networks, no cookie banner in the way of the upload.

  6. Marks on the picture

    The question to ask

Is anything put on the guest's picture — a mark, a logotype, a line of text?

    Our answer

We never mark a guest's picture. If the host chooses to add a stamp, it sits on the display copy only, never on what is stored or downloaded.

  7. What sits behind a tier

    The question to ask

Which features require a more expensive plan, and is it stated before you buy?

    Our answer

What each plan contains is on the price page, and the differences are features — never the quality of your pictures.

Sources The questions above come from our own review of the category, last updated in August 2026. The services reviewed were Kululu, LiveWall, Lane of Memories, Momentix and Guest.Gallery. The review is the basis for the questions — the answers to them you get from each service, since they can change without us noticing.

Frame no. 02 Why there is no … direction, not shortfall

What is missing from a product says as much as what is in it. Five things are left out on purpose, and they are not coming back.

… app
An app is an obstacle between the guest and the camera, and the guest least at home with apps is the one holding the picture you are missing. The page opens in the browser and works on a phone from 2016.
… guest list or RSVP
We do not want to know who is invited. A guest list turns the product into a register of people who never asked to be in one, and that question never has to be asked for the pictures to find their way home.
… sign-in with a music service
The song requests exist, but they require no sign-in anywhere. Tying the evening to an account with a third party makes the night depend on that link holding — and it can be taken away from us at any time.
… stamp on the guest's picture
The picture belongs to the guest and the host, not to our advertising space. A burnt-in stamp cannot be removed again, and it would still be there in twenty years.
… tracking of your guests
No third-party code on the guest's page, no advertising networks, no banner to click away. We measure our own funnel on our own servers, and that measurement follows nobody between two events.

The demo is a real event. Upload a picture, download it again and compare the files — that is the quickest way to test the row about compression.
