Frequently asked questions
What we get asked about the most. If you cannot find the answer, feel free to write to us.
For the guest
-
Do guests need to download an app?
No. The guest scans the QR code with the phone's ordinary camera and lands on a web page. Two taps later the photos are shared.
-
Do guests need an account, or to fill anything in?
No. No account, no email, no password. Only once the upload has already started do we ask for a first name — and that is optional and can be skipped.
-
Does it work on older phones and poor wifi?
Yes, it is built for exactly that. The page is light, and if the connection drops halfway the upload carries on from where it was when the network returns.
-
Which languages are there for the guest?
The guest page exists in nine languages. You choose which ones your event offers, and the guest switches with one tap — the aunt in Berlin and the cousin in Madrid each see it in their own.
-
Can a guest undo an upload?
Yes. A guest can delete what they uploaded themselves, straight from their phone.
-
Can guests see each other's photos?
Yes, in the event gallery — that is the point. If you want to review photos before they appear, turn on pre-approval.
Photos and film
-
Are the photos compressed?
Never. The originals are kept exactly as they were taken — full resolution, no downscaling, and never a watermark from us.
-
Do you accept video?
Yes, in original quality, just like the photos.
-
Is there a limit to how many photos can be uploaded?
Not in the paid packages. Guests should never meet a "full" message in the middle of the party.
-
Can I remove or hide a photo?
Yes. You can hide individual photos from the gallery at any time, and with pre-approval you see everything before the guests do.
During the party
-
Can we show the photos on the big screen?
Yes. The live wall shows the photos as they arrive — on a projector, a TV or a screen — and is driven from your phone. There is an evening mode that is kind to dark rooms.
-
What is the quiz?
A game of questions you prepare before the party. Guests answer from their phones, the wall shows the countdown, the standings and finally a podium. Included in every paid package.
-
How do song requests work?
The guest types the song — or pastes a link straight from Spotify, and the title and cover art come along automatically. You or the DJ approve, and the list can be opened song by song in Spotify or exported. There is a ready-made sign for the DJ booth with its own QR code leading straight to the request.
-
Can the requests end up in our own Spotify playlist?
Yes. Paste the link to your collaborative playlist and approved songs get an "add" button that opens it — and if you like, you can show the playlist openly so guests with Spotify add songs themselves.
-
Can we turn the quiz and the song requests off?
Yes, both are off until you turn them on — and they then appear as quiet links for the guest, never in the way of the photographing.
-
Can we close the collection after the party?
Yes, whenever you like — with a switch, or automatically on the end date you set. The viewing lives on for the whole period regardless.
The guest book
-
What is the guest book?
Your guests' greetings in text, voice or video — the words you would otherwise never have had in writing. It comes along in the archive.
-
Can we decide what the guest book asks for?
Yes, you can set your own prompt, such as "Describe the couple in three words" or "Share a memory of the birthday guest".
Afterwards, and for good
-
How long do the photos stay available?
The viewing period follows the package and is counted from the event date — up to 24 months, with the option to extend. You can download the archive throughout the whole period.
-
Can I download everything at once?
Yes. The archive is a ZIP with every original and the guest book, plus a viewer that opens straight on your computer — entirely without internet, and it keeps working for good. Which packages include the archive is on the pricing page.
-
Can the photographer's photos go into the same gallery?
Yes. The photographer (or you) puts the delivery in an album of its own — guests need no new link, and the album can be added long after the party.
-
What if we want to upgrade after the cards are already printed?
Nothing has to be redone — the link and the QR code stay the same for good, upgrade or not.
Photographers and co-hosts
-
Can the photographer send photos straight from the camera?
Yes, in the paid packages. Professional cameras with built-in FTP can send the photos straight into the event while the party is going on — the wedding photos on the wall during dinner. You get ready-made settings to hand the photographer.
-
Can two of us administer the event?
Yes. Invite a co-host, who may do everything except delete the event, invite others and touch the payment — a couple is two people, and so is the account.
Trust and storage
-
Where are the photos stored?
On our own servers in Sweden, inside the EU. Which storage locations can be chosen is on the storage page.
-
Do you track the guests?
No. No third-party code, no ad networks, no cookie banner in the guest flow — none is needed, because there is nothing to consent to.
-
Who can get into our event?
Whoever has the link. The address carries a code that cannot be guessed, and it appears only on your own cards and QR codes — there is no separate password box.
-
What happens to the photos when the period ends?
You get reminders in good time, have time to download the archive, and can extend if you want to. Deletion means deletion — nothing is left behind.
Prices and packages
-
What does it cost?
There is a free trial event to begin with, and a one-off price per event — no subscriptions. Current prices are on the pricing page.
-
What does the trial event include?
The whole flow for real — scan, upload, see the gallery — with a limited number of photos. If you upgrade, the event keeps the same link and QR code.
-
Do you charge per guest?
No. The price is per event, however many people take part.
